Why TAF series

Put suppression close to the risk.

Designed for initial fires in small, reasonably enclosed spaces, the TAF-series unit installs directly inside equipment where electrical faults can begin.

01

Automatic thermal response

The device activates when its specified thermal threshold is reached, providing localized action without waiting for manual intervention.

02

Fast condensed aerosol discharge

The manual lists a discharge time of no more than six seconds for rapid distribution inside a suitable enclosure.

03

No external pipework

A self-contained format reduces installation complexity in compact panels and equipment compartments.

04

Compact installation

The 78 × 51 × 29 mm housing supports 35 mm DIN rail mounting or adhesive-backed installation on a suitable surface.

Typical applications

For compact, enclosed equipment.

Application suitability depends on protected volume, enclosure leakage, airflow, internal layout and the actual fire risk.

Distribution cabinetsLocalized protection near electrical connections
SwitchgearCompact integration inside enclosures
Control panelsProtection for PLC and automation hardware
Battery enclosuresRapid response inside compact housings
Equipment compartmentsClose to identified ignition points
Custom enclosuresReviewed according to layout and volume
Important: the device is not intended for open or heavily ventilated spaces and does not replace required building fire alarm or fixed fire protection systems.

Installation overview

Simple mounting. Careful application review.

Isolate the equipment

Disconnect power and verify the equipment is de-energized.

Calculate protected volume

Measure usable internal volume and assess ventilation and leakage.

Select the position

Place near the upper area and likely ignition source with an unobstructed outlet.

Secure the device

Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail or a clean, suitable adhesive surface.

Complete inspection

Verify mounting, clearance, environmental conditions and installation date.
